Up Next: Cleaning Things Up A Bit

Hey folks. :) Thought I'd drop a few lines about the next update, which will likely be released in a couple of weeks or so.

Having just spent two months on the Necropolis content push, this seemed like a good time to catch up on some quality of life features and bug fixes that I was behind on.

Probably the biggest quality of life upgrade coming in the next update is the ability to rebind the game's controls to whatever you like. :D A close second is that now, when exploring the dungeon, your automap will note a small radius around you as "mapped, but not explored" using a darker color, and mobile enemy groups will show up on the map if traveling through mapped or explored territory.

(Note: Normally, this "mapped" radius is quite small and does not penetrate walls or doors, but a certain Sorcery skill now offers a spell that allows you to gain map vision of a large radius around your current position, as shown in this post's image. :D )

Several bug fixes of note will also be coming, including one that should allow me to make much more interesting room layouts for the Necropolis building interiors. There will also be a small amount of balance adjustments based on feedback from the Necropolis update, and even a bit of new content, because I'm not sure I'm physically capable of doing an update and not including at least a little new content. :P

But, we're still a couple of weeks or so out from a release, so until then, I hope everyone enjoys playing the Necropolis update. :) Good luck on your adventures!
