New Build this Friday!


The next build is nearing completion and is scheduled to be released this Friday!

Last time I discussed the improved options that will be available, so now it's time for a gameplay teaser. :D The new build will include some new skills for your party to find and learn including:

Implement Shot: Allows you to make a special attack with a weapon Implement such as a Rod, Scepter, or Athame. By default the attack deals Arcane damage to one enemy, but the attack will have additional properties based on type of Implement used. For example, a Wand's Implement Shot is faster than normal, a Scepter's Implement Shot reduces the FP cost of your spells next round, etc.

Freezing Shot: Use an alchemical solution to add Cold damage and a Chill effect to a single ranged attack. The Cold damage and chance of repeated Chills becoming Freeze are based on your Intellect and Cunning.

Sorcery: Matter Destruction: A new Sorcery school that teaches spells that attack enemies by directly altering the matter they are comprised of. Weaken defenses with Fral, deal damage based on an enemy's remaining HP with the compressing power of Destor, or tear weak or injured foes apart with Vakum.

There are a few other new skills too, but I'll leave those as surprises for you to find. :) Also a few other gameplay odds and ends are coming, such as a new Elite/Champion type based on Bleed damage, changes to some enemy-only skills like Fire Attack to make them more impactful, and more.
