A Gooey Progress Update


Work continues on Interdict's 2nd dungeon, Necropolis. :)

So far, I'm roughly 1/2 way done with adding the new enemy species that will be able to be found there, including the "Trapped" shown in this post's screenshot. Some of the other new species include Hunger and Despair, two new types of Echo you can encounter, with abilities that drain away HP and FP respectively. The ranks of the Valhallans have been reinforced by the addition of Valkyries, who can summon other Valhallans with their war horn, and use support Psionics to buff and heal their allies. Five other new species have been completed so far as well, but I don't want to give away everything. :)

Progress on new skills is probably closer to 1/3 than 1/2, but they are coming along as well.  Some of the new skills expand upon existing concepts, like Furious Vigor which restores your HP each turn while in a Fury, or Neurotoxin Use, which lets you coat your weapons with a Paralyzing substance. Others go in entirely new directions, like Sorcery: Metamagic, containing spells that adjust the power and FP costs of the spells of allies and enemies alike. Many other new skills have been and will be added, but like with species, not giving away everything  here. :D

Probably still a ways to go on Dungeon 2's release, but I appreciate your patience. I think the wait will be worth it for an update that will more than double the amount of content currently in the game. :)
